A few words from April & Paolo:

"We eloped in Paris earlier this month and choosing Olivier as our photographer was the best decision we made. Our photos and video were absolutely amazing! We are both camera shy, but thankfully he guided us through the day and somehow made the end product look so natural and effortless. He also had the photos & video back to us within the same week! Is that even possible? Needless to say, our expectations were met a million times over. Thank you!!!"

A few words from Dina & James:

"Olivier photographed our wedding on September 5, 2016. It was the most magical experience of our lives. He knew exactly where to take us and avoided many of the "typical paris" sites which was great because our photos will truly capture what Paris is all about. He was very accommodating and generous with his time. We even had a little rain at the end of our time with him, but it turned into so much fun. I am so grateful to him for capturing such beautiful photos because it is a day that will live on forever through these pictures. The photos are simply gorgeous! One day when we return to Paris with our family I hope to take more photos with him!
Thank you for everything. You exceeded my expectations! "

As an English speaking destination wedding photographer based in Paris, we specialise in stylish and elegant visuals for private clients worldwide. We do and are willing to travel. We love our craft, visual imageries, people and the many experiences & new friends that wedding photography brings us every day.

  • FROM THE BLOG

Pre-wedding photo session of Wen and K.C in Paris this past week-end. Wen had contacted me for some fun & stylish pre-wedding portraits as she was planning her trip to Paris a little while back. She had one requirement which was being able to see the Eiffel tower in some of the photographs. So we met early morning, on a saturday to skip the afternoon crowd and started our photo tour at the Champs de Mars. The weather was perfect, quite warm actually for the season and not a drop of rain in sight. No need to say that if rain had occurred, we did have a plan and a gorgeous umbrella at hand.

We spent a little while at the Champs de Mars; I noticed a kids playground and thought it might be a nice idea to have the two of them playing a little bit on the site with an adorable princess’s castle.
Uber took us from one location to the next; first the Bir Hakeim bridge which is minutes away from the Eiffel tower. We then headed towards the Seine, place de la Concorde, the Tuilerie gardens and to Louvre to finish the morning with.
The photo session took us three hours to complete. It is a lot of fun to take a couple around Paris for a few hours for some romantic photograph. So much fun actually, that it is always tempting to carry on for a few more hours. The streets of Paris are after all the perfect setting for your pre-wedding or an engagement photo session. I find from experience that three hours is quite perfect to have a wonderful serie of photographs before it is time to just sit down, relax and have a drink!
Below you will find a few more pre-wedding and engagement photo tour that i have organized with various couples this year. As a photographer, it is quite an exiting challenge to come up with a large serie of creative photographs that show the love of a man and a woman within those three hours. Time flies, my couples are not always used to have their portraits taken and might be a little camera shy at first.
A good pre-wedding photographer has to be creative. Every couple is different, it is important to quickly establish a relationship so that you can relax and have fun in front of the camera.
In any case, enjoy this serie of photographs below that i had a lot of fun producing. If you are interested to see a larger portfolio of pre wedding and engagement portraits, you can go to our engagement portfolio on our website or browse any of the galleries below.

Unforgettable wedding reception at the National Opera Garnier. The dream of Marie and James came true when they married at the Eglise sainte Clotilde in Paris, followed by a big bash the Opéra Garnier Franco-Brazilian style with a dash of Britishness. Friends and family flew from all over the world. Marie’s family from Brazil, James family from the UK and friends from the U.S and all over Europe gathered for this memorable week end in Paris. I shared a few photos from their Paris wedding ceremony a few days past, here more visuals from a very stylish, glamorous and very fun evening. The national opera staircase was all decorated with very colorful, bright red, yellow, green paper cut flowers. A Brazilian Samba group of musicians and dancers were leading the night away from cocktail hour to the cutting of the cake. The national opera is such a prestigious background for Marie and James wedding adventure. The photographs are gorgeous, full of life and energy. It was a lot of fun being part of this wonderful affair in such a grand historical location.

Congratulation to the newly weds.

This past week end, I photographed the wedding of Marie and James in Paris. The photos are gorgeous, we had a wonderful day and i couldn’t wait posting a few of Marie and James wedding photographs on my blog. Their wedding ceremony took place at the “Eglise Sainte Clotilde” in the 7th arr. of Paris, right behind the national assemblée while the evening celebration happened at the National Opera Garnier. Friends and family flew from all over to celebrate their wedding day.  No need to say there are so many photographs, i had a lot of fun looking through today. I decided to post the ceremony first which will be followed by the evening photographs in a different post later on this week.

Enjoy all …. and of course more later!

What is the best time to get married in Paris, have some family portraits done or renew your vows? Well it is not about timing but about love and the desire to celebrate a very special moment with your love ones in the most amazing city on earth whether it rains or the sun is out for the afternoon. Paris can be a little grey and humid at times. Woody Allen said there is nothing best then Paris on a rainy day! I have great pleasure to capture romance in the streets of Paris. A little umbrella may come handy at times on a day like yesterday. We had a little drizzle towards the end of our photo session. The Louvre was very quiet and peaceful for a chance. The rain did not stop us from having some fun from the Eiffel tower to the seine, the Louvre and the palais royal. So get your umbrella ready, you never know and even if it doesn’t rain we might use it as a prop singing in the rain or not!Paris photo sesionPINTHISelope in Paris wedding officiantPINTHISvow-renewal-parisPINTHISvow-renewal-parisPINTHISParis family portrait photographerPINTHISParis family portrait photographerPINTHISParis elopement photographerPINTHISElopement Paris photo sessionPINTHISParis family portrait photographerPINTHISLe Louvre paris photographerPINTHISVow renewal paris photographerPINTHISParis vow renewal photographyPINTHISParis wedding photographerPINTHISLe Louvre paris photographerPINTHISvow-renewal-parisPINTHISvow-renewal-parisPINTHISvow-renewal-parisPINTHISvow-renewal-paris-222PINTHISvow-renewal-paris-20PINTHISgetting married in ParisPINTHISGetting married in Paris wedding photographerPINTHIS

April and Paolo eloped in Paris. They flew all the way from Arkansas to celebrate their union in the city of love, all by themselves. WeddingLight Events planned their big day & we were lucky enough to be their wedding photographer for the day. We produced a video clip as well which will be up in a little while. We met at their hotel in Saint Germain des Près for the getting ready of the bride. April and Paolo had their wedding ceremony in the gardens of the Trocadero. WeddingLight events had organized a harpist to play a few tunes during the ceremony. The officiant speech was modern and quite moving. I do love the Trocadero gardens for a wedding ceremony; it is very quiet, the grounds are gorgeous and yet it is  footsteps away from the Eiffel tower.

Paolo and April wedding photographs are quite stylish & elegant and a lot of fun to shoot. I always want to make sure that my wedding couples are going to have some fun with their wedding photographer. I want my photographs to be first and foremost fun and lively. I try to keep away from posed portraits to privilege more natural photography. I think you will get a sense of my style in those few wedding photographs. They are happy, obviously very much in love and although they both were a little shy in front of the camera at first, I managed to make them smile a lot in front of the lens! We did have a wonderful time traveling the streets of Paris in a gorgeous white Bentley. Our photographic journey took us to the gardens of the trocadero for the ceremony as well as the pont Alexandre III, the place de la Concorde and the gardens of the palais royal.

From our bride: “We eloped in Paris earlier this month and choosing Olivier as our photographer and Wedding Light Events to coordinate was the best decision we made. Our photos and video were absolutely amazing! We are both camera shy, but thankfully he guided us through the day and somehow made the end product look so natural and effortless. He also had the photos & video back to us within the same week! Is that even possible? Needless to say, our expectations were met a million times over. Thank you!!!”
