Shelby and Steve married in Paris!
Friends and family flew from Bostom to celebrate Shelby and Steve’s union in the city of love. “WeddingLight events” planned their wedding day in this beautiful city of ours. The square Jean XXIII, right behind Notre Dame, was the perfect location for a very moving wedding ceremony. We then cruised around town for a few hours in a classic S1 Bentley looking for the perfect spots for their photo tour. Needless to say, that just about every street corner is a visual inspiration in Paris. Shelby & Steve had a lot of fun, having their portraits taken at some of my favorite Parisian landmarks from the ile saint louis to Notre Dame, the Louvres, gardens of the palais Royal and the champ de mars overlooking the eiffel tower.
Our beautiful bride got ready at the Saint James on rue de rivoli. We crossed over to the fun fair park at the tuilerie garden for a few portraits of our bride, just before heading to the ceremony where everyone ( including Myriam the harpist and Igor the officiant ) were patiently waiting. Shelby had a great time riding a classic harley at the fair, just before she was to be married. The unexpected amusement park mini photo session released some of the pre- ceremony tension prior to the ceremony. Of course, Shelby had a little tear during the exchange of vows. A little crowd of tourist gathered around them at the garden during the ceremony as well which added to the fun of the day. They had their wedding reception at the restaurant “Les Ombres”. The view of the Eiffel tower from the roof top is to die for.
Wonderful day really, I love the photos of their wedding day. They are fun, classy & our wedding couple very happy together.
Congratulation to the newly weds & Shelby and Steve Parisian elopement was a total success.
