The ability to tell that story, to capture magical moments with the skill of a visual journalist and the sensibility of a lyrical observer, is what we do best. Since 1990, our company has engaged in the fine art of photographic storytelling. As principal of the studio, Olivier Lalin has always held the vision not only to document life’s important events but also to evoke both the expansive and intimate details of an instant. To show not just the dress or flowers, but life’s most revealing moments.
Today, Olivier Lalin Photographers is a full service studio that continues to preserve the most memorable times in a family’s life — childhood, wedding, special celebrations — in an elegant, refined style. We invite you to take a moment to browse our portfolios at www.weddinglight.com to gain a sense of our breadth of work.
Located on the cap d’Antibes, stand the most beautiful chapel on the French riviera. La Chapel de la Garoupe is elevated at some 75 meters over the turquoise water of the Mediterannee. Here is a little video I shot a while back as a thank you note for letting me breath its beauty.
It is on the far end of “the bay des Anges”, overlooking the Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat on the other side, another blessing of the French riviera.
And a little wink to Anne and Nicky from David & Reinhard, great wedding planners from over the Atlantic and the Big Apple, my favorite city at heart.
This is one of our classic 8×10 print size, 700 Series wedding album with a black lizard leather cover. The prints are expertly mounted by hand into your choice of matte/liner combination. This album example is ivory colored. The photographs were taken at the Ritz, Paris, the American church and various locations around Paris. The prints color was enhanced and manipulated. The final product is classic and timeless and fits our brand perfectly.
Hope you all like those photographs!

I have just returned from Lugano, Italy where I photographed the wedding of Alex and Mark on the lake. What a blast, I really loved it there and will be going back ( soon i hope ) for some well deserved vacations! Lugano is the most picturesque location for a destination wedding. Just starting to look at the photographs, there are a lot as always.
Great memories! Thanks guys and enjoy the Seychelles

Just another one of my favorite wedding photograph with an old time sepia look. The photo was taken in central park south, new york city. It was shot on kodak tri-X film. I love the grain and feel of it. Looking forward to your comments if any.

I was going through some of our wedding photographs this morning. I just stopped on this particular one which i like quite a lot. It very much represent some of the things that i love photographing weddings. It is a simple posed portrait of a couple who just got married. Simple yes but the photos speaks a thousand words.
I am so glad I took it ! You have to be proud of your work, don’t you?
Off to Italy for a wedding next week. i am so impatient that my bag is ready, all packed! Family is in New York and i have a few more days to finish up on my duties. Just time to share a few of the retouched photos of my last wedding of an exquisite destination wedding at the chateau de Changy.

A little while back i decided to use just film and my rolleiflex to photograph Pierre. There is not a day without a new photo of my son. He is so used to have me around with a camera, it is just very natural. Only i have been shooting digital and i have 1000 of files of Pierre, not very organized in hard drives. So now, i go the old way and shoot film. Every negative is filed in plastic sleeves in a special archival box. Pierre’s special box … The chances are he is going to be a photographer one day!
I would describe “The Jardin des Tuileries” as our little oasis in Paris. Close to home, it is the park where the family goes for a strall on weekends. It is built on a former quarry for clay used to make tiles and it is after this that it is named (tuilerie in French). The large park and garden extends from the front of the the Louvre on the eastern edge to the Place de la Concorde on west.
As the name suggests, the Jardin des Tuileries was a garden before it became a public park. The garden belonged to the Tuileries Palace described below and now forms part of the Axe historique (historical axis) of Paris which is also sometimes called the Voie Triomphale (triumphal way). It was designed by Andre Le Notre in 1664. The current layout faithfully retains this design.
