The first photograph taken from this weekend wedding in Paris. I like the details, the colors and the light falling on the dresses. It is romantic, the bouquets and the necklaces add up to the overall beauty of the photograph. Simple and quite pleasing. I like it!
A few photos taken yesterday in Paris with Ebru and Suheyl who eloped from Istambul. Those wedding photographs were taken at the Shangri La Paris, gorgeous new luxury hotel avenue de Iena, followed by some streets photography with Paris in the background. Ebru and Suheyl married at the Turkish consulate in Boulogne. Their parents made the journey from Istambul with a few closed friends. Ebru was wearing a splendid wedding gown from Monique Lhuillier collection.

This portrait of a bride was taken at the St Joseph Catholic church of Paris against the red tiles of the alter. It is located 50 avenue Hoche in the 8th arrondissement. The current building that houses St. Joseph’s Church was completed in May of 1987. It is a modern edifice with a large concrete presence. Like a few of my architect friends, I do enjoy its concrete style in a “Le Corbusier manner“, pioneer of modernism in architecture!
