Last week was packed with some fun-filled events. I had the pleasure of spending a few days with Jacquelyn+Livingston, the bride and groom, and their friends and family. Everyone in attendance flew in from various part of the U.S. How exciting to all be in a new place for such a special event?! They had some fantastic activities planned for their wedding in Paris and no time was going to be wasted.
We first met on the Pont de Iéna overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Then, out of nowhere, I’ve Got a Feelin’ by the Black Eyed Peas blasted into the crisp Parisian air and the whole group did an amazing flashmob dance with matching red berets. It was my first time witnessing one of these dances and I have to give credit to Barbara, Jacquelyn’s mother, who organized the whole thing. Moments into the song, I could feel myself wanting to just jump in with them, but thankfully I retrained myself. Besides that, the whole experience was a lot of fun and the entire afternoon was filled with laughter and good times.

There were some great memories made last weekend thanks to the wonderful team at the GEORGE V – especially, Ludovic Cayacy, the Conference Manager of the hotel. And a warm and special thank you, as well, to Jacquelyn and Livingston for a lovely experience — it was my first time at the V.I.P room for some clubbing at their after party — what fun!
